My sister and I returned to Jerusalem recently for a second visit and stayed at the Jerusalem Gold hotel again.We would not want to stay anywhere else.
On the second evening we met the Owner Mrs. Ariela Schmida Doron again, a lovely, interesting lady and were able to get to know her a little more.The hotel revolves round her and she works very hard.We were glad that she was around as this time we did not travel with a Tour Group.
Our room was excellent as were the maid service,the towels, bedlinen and cleaning each day.
The food in the restaurant was lovely - meat, fish, lots of vegetables,salads and desserts and the wonderful mashed potato.
The Restaurant and Bar Staff - the Maitre D., Morris and three younger men were always so kind and considerate to us,we really appreciated that.
So we felt at home again in the Jerusalem Gold and would like to thank Ariela and her Staff for creating such a lovely atmosphere.We look forward to returning sooner or later.

We spent a wondrful week at the Jerusalem Gold hotel
the location is superb and we could travel the lengh and bredth of Jerusalem or by bus or by rail treain which is situated across from the Hotel.
The staff was so very nice helpful and welcoming and our rooms were clean and pleasant and served all days of the week! All in all I can highly recoment this hotel to visitors wh want a homely hote that is so centrally located thank you to Ariela Schmida Doron and you wonderful staff for making our stay so very pleasant! :o

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, die Anfahrt mit der
Tram zur Altstadt so ganz leicht möglich.
Eine sehr freundliche Besitzerin und ein sehr engagierter und freundlicher Manager führen das Haus, sehr bemüht um das Wohl der Gäste.
Mir mundete das koschere Frühstück, die Vorspeisen am Abend fand ich sehr lecker.
Trotz Unannehmlichkeiten (Baustellenlärm und laute Lüftungsanlage)empfehlenswert.

I like so many things about Jerusalem gold,its expecially the services of most of the staffs.they were very friendly,very helpful.they give you 100% of there attention when u need them.the location of the hotel as well is very central to so many centers one may wish to visit.its indeed a place I will recomend for anyone visiting Jerusalem.

Very friendly and helpful staff, immaculate room. Breakfast lovely and location perfect. Just next to the central bus station and therefore the new light rail and access to all tourist spots in Jerusalem.

It was quiet, friendly and the meals were good and priced right. We stayed for a week and found the location good. The owner is hands on with guests and staff which made us feel at home. She was in her office every morning, ready to meet our needs or requests. Staff was helpful in arranging tours for us as well. We would recommend this hotel. You are near the city, but without all the city noise. Buses, a tram and shopping are all nearby. We loved Jerusalem and Jerusalem Gold. Suzanne and Paul Waters - California - USA
